Children’s Ministry – God’s Wheels
God’s Wheels Children’s Ministry teams exist to unveil God’s love to the children and families of PDCF. From rocking infants and leading small groups to helping families check their children in, the God’s Wheels Ministry teams create environments for kids to learn about Jesus and have fun at the same time. These teams lead PDCF children in relevant, age-appropriate activities and lessons, using a multi-media, visually driven Elevate curriculum. From songs, to skits, to small groups… these teams do a little bit of everything. Join our team to help in Cozy Coupes (Infant - 2 yrs), Power Wheels (3k – 4k), Go Carts (5k - 2nd grade), Four Wheelers (3rd - 5th grades) as a teacher/leader, our check-in team, germ terminators, media, room set-up, or administration.
First Impressions Ministry
The First Impressions team members believe that first impressions make a huge impact. These teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at PDCF. From welcoming you in the parking lot to directing you to the newest sermon DVD, our Connections team strives to get your attention and set the stage for what’s coming. Join our teams in greeting people with a smile, helping others learn more about PDCF, or making people feel welcome by offering them a cup of coffee.
Café Team
Café Team members make the PDCF volunteer experience incredible for all. They setup, replenish, and keep various food and beverage choices looking delicious. Whether brewing coffee or cutting muffins, these volunteers have smiles on their faces and love making our facilities a little more inviting. Join as an assistant, coffee preparer, cold beverage server, café food preparer, table hostess, or on the setup or clean-up team.
Creative and Technical Arts
Our team of gifted artists serves out of love for Jesus Christ and His church. We strive to reach a balance between humility, following
the example of Christ, and excellence, believing that God deserves our best efforts to honor Him. Artists wired for performance roles,
as well as behind-the-scenes roles are needed to make PDCF services happen week after week. Whether in areas of music and drama, or visual and technical arts, we love and need artists! If you have an eye for graphics or set design, an interest in creating mood with lighting, an ear for music or sound, the flair for acting or directing, a good understanding of video shooting or editing… you name it! Contact our staff to find out how to get involved. The PDCF community of artists looks forward to getting to know you! Join the creative team, DVD duplicator team, set design and construction team, graphics design team, assist in photography, videography, sound and lights.
Web Team
Our Web Team helps keep the many web pages of our website and Facebook functioning. They assist in the areas of graphic design, content management, and application development. If you posses abilities in these areas, this team can use you.
Care Ministries
Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life. Join our team to pray for all aspects of our church. Hospital and Bereavement teams show Christ’s compassion and love during tough times. Our Bus ministry team provides those with no transportation the possibility to hear the Gospel and be part of the body of Christ. If you have compassion and a desire to help others, this may be the team for you!
Student Ministries
Help lead middle school and high school students toward their next step into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by volunteering in the environments that challenge students to make Christ a priority in their everyday lives, influence their friends, and experience person ministry and worship. Assist as a greeter, small group leader, check-in, administration, media, or worship team.
Home Teams
One of the best ways to get connected at a church is through small groups. As our church gets larger, we have to get smaller. Home Teams offer the opportunity to meet new people, share prayer requests, grow together, and develop a network of families that are there to help you and encourage you in your walk. Volunteer to assist by becoming a home team leader or a host home for one of our Home Teams.

God has placed us in Florence, SC to show His love to His City! PDCF is reaching out to a world in need. Through our work with Bagz of Hope, Pee Dee Girls Home, Billie Hardee Boys Home, Turbeville Orphanage, Christian Learning Center, Mugging Florence, and our Community Movie Nights… We are making a difference! PDCF is committed to sharing its human-power, resources, and experiences to help others. Join this team to partner with others that love to make an impact in our city, county, state, and even the world.
