The R.A.C.E. is a series of turns that we offer to help you get on track to fulfill God's purpose for your life. At each turn, we Reveal an aspect of Christ and being a Christ Follower, help you Acquire knowledge to allow you to grow spiritually in that aspect, Challenge you to make a commitment to grow spiritually, and Empower you with helpful skills/resources that can be used to accomplish the challenge.

You first get on the track at the Start Line by giving God the keys to your life. Our Start Line is called New Beginnings.

New Beginnings helps people who are new Christ Followers or just want to get more information about becoming a Christ Follower.
In New Beginnings you will discover . . .
     • The dynamics of forgiveness and receiving God's pardon
     • The dynamics of life change and believing in God's Son
     • The dynamics of freedom and walking in God's presence

From the first lap, The R.A.C.E. is made up of four turns.
1. Purpose (Turn 1): Discovering Your Purpose in Christ and His Church helps you unite with our unique church family. This aspect of The R.A.C.E. leads you to a relationship with Christ and gives you an opportunity to join with the vision of Pee Dee Community Fellowship.  Those that choose to join with our church become part of the Pit Crew.
In Purpose (Turn 1) you will discover . . .
     • The God-given purpose of our church
     • The structure and beliefs of our fellowship
     • What it means to unite with our vision

Now you are no longer strangers to God …, but you are members of God's very own family and you belong in God's household with every other Christian. ~ Ephesians 2:19 (TLB)

2. Direction (Turn 2): Discovering Your Life's Direction by Growing In Christ helps you mature spiritually. (Spiritual maturity is becoming more like Christ.)
In Direction (Turn 2) you will discover . . .
     • How to establish a time to develop your personal relationship with Christ
     • How to become a giving person
     • How to establish good habits

Take time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit. ~ 1 Timothy 4:7 (Ph)

3. Connection (Turn 3): Connecting with God's Plan to Reach Our Community helps you minister in our church and community.
In Connection (Turn 3) you will discover . . .
     • God has shaped you uniquely for service
     • Your unique gifts, strengths, and talents
     • How to match your make-up with existing team ministries in our church or helping create a new team ministry

God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings. ~ 1 Peter 4:10 (TLB)

4. Future (Turn 4): Helping People Discover a Future in Christ helps you live in our community and world to share the life changing love of Christ.
In Future (Turn 4) you will discover . . .
     • How to express your experiences as a Christ Follower to others
     • How to share your faith without fear with your friends
     • How you can connect with God's work in our community and the world

In addition to these turns, we have a Pit Road consisting of Ministry Teams and Home Teams where everyone in the Pit Crew can find a place to "tune up" as they run the Race of Life.
