Building Relationships for Eternity
Connections are made and relationships are built at Pee Dee Community Fellowship through our small group network of teams. As our fellowship grows, it will become more and more difficult for everyone to know everyone else. This is where teams come in. These groups are made up of no more than 15 people so it's easier to get to know each other and form friendships.Home Teams
Instead of meeting all together at one location for worship on Sunday nights, we meet in small groups that we call Home Teams at various homes and locations throughout the Pee Dee (some groups might meet during the week). These groups are "churches within the church," offering more interaction, time for relationship building, and a deeper Bible study. Home Teams were even practiced by the first Christ Followers as described in the book of Acts! Home Teams are created around common interests such as parenting, hobbies, and different stages of life.
Within a home team, you will find some things that you might not be able to get on Sunday mornings: new friends, a strong support system, and further fulfillment of life in Christ. You can grow spiritually in a comfortable and non-threatening environment and learn to help others in and outside of the group in various ways. Use the "Find A Way to Connect" feature to check out what Home Teams are available. Just click on the "Find A Way to Connect" link at the top of this screen and then change the "Type of Group" selection box to "Home Team." Click "Search" to see a list of all Home Teams. We would love for you to check us out!
Ministry Teams
Ministry Teams are dedicated to performing some sort of ministry in the community and/or church. Examples of Ministry Teams are our Parking Team, Greeters, and Children's Ministry. To search through our teams for one that insterests you, use the "Find A Way to Connect" feature at the top of this screen and then change the "Type of Group" selection box to "Ministry Team." Click "Search" to see a list of Minstry Teams. If you have an interest in something we do not have a team for, let us know! We want to allow your ceativity to flow!!
